Bara Badhu Completes Five Weeks in Theatres; Special Screening Attended by Babushaan Mohanty and Family
Bhubaneswar: The Odia film Bara Badhu continues to enjoy a successful run in theatres, completing five weeks at the box office and collecting around Rs 1.75 crore so far.
Adding to the film’s momentum, a special screening of the movie was recently attended by Odia superstar Babushaan Mohanty along with his family. The screening was also graced by veteran actor Aparajita Mohanty and noted producer T. S. Satpathy.
The event was hosted by the director-producer duo of the film, Beeswaranjan Chandra Mani and producer Sushil Kumar Mishra, who interacted with the guests and shared their gratitude for the audience’s response.
Released in cinema halls across Odisha on February 13, the film has been receiving appreciation from audiences for its portrayal of love, traditions, and emotions rooted in Odia culture.
Bara Badhu features a cast including Subhasis Sharma, Sailendra Samantaray, Suryamayee Mohapatra, Sivani Sangita, Jayshree Sarangi, and Hara Rath, among others.
The film is produced under the banner of The Useful Garbage Creations in association with Country Boyz Studios and Sharpline Film Pvt. Ltd., and presented by Chandra Mani. It is released by Prakash Films.

With a steady theatrical run and positive word of mouth, the makers are optimistic that Bara Badhu will continue to draw audiences to theatres in the coming weeks.
