Poster and Teaser of Odia Film ‘Linebala’ Unveiled in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The poster of the upcoming Odia film “Linebala” was unveiled and its teaser released at a special event held at the World Skill Center in Mancheswar on Friday.

The film is produced by Sushant Kumar Mohanty under the banner of Srihari Motion Pictures.

The event was attended by several distinguished guests including Rashmiranjan Mahapatra as the chief guest, along with Wing Commander N. K. Samal, Pinaki Pattanayak, Professor Pradeep Das, Dr. Dinadayal Swain, social activist Bhanupadma, senior official Prakash Chakra Nayak, Bhagaban Biswal, Satya Parida, and film director Niranjan Behera.

The film stars Sambeet Acharya, Swapna Priyadarsini, Ashrumochan Mohanty and others.

In a touching gesture during the program, three women from the families of workers who lost their lives in electrical accidents were invited and honoured by the production house.

The event was organized ahead of Line Man Day on March 7, highlighting the importance and sacrifices of electricity department workers who serve as linemen.

Producer Sushant Kumar Mohanty said the film has been made with the objective of dedicating it to linemen working in the power sector.

He expressed hope that the film would raise awareness about the risks faced by linemen and contribute to improving their safety. According to the makers, if the film can help save even a few lives by spreading awareness, it would fulfill its purpose.

The movie “Linebala” aims to portray the struggles, dedication, and real-life challenges faced by linemen who risk their lives to ensure uninterrupted power supply to society.
