MANASKA to Stream Soon on AAO NXT After International Acclaim

Bhubaneswar: After winning accolades at several international film festivals, the Odia feature film MANASKA is all set to stream soon on the AAO NXT platform.

Directed by national award-winning filmmaker Manas Sahoo and produced by Bhabani Prasad Majhi, the film was earlier released in selected multiplexes and theatres in 2023. Known for its deep philosophical narrative, MANASKA explores the inner conflict of a man, Taanish, who struggles with his own identity and emotional turmoil.

The film stars Aswini Roy Mohapatra as Taanish, Madhumita Barik as Shalini, Bikash Choudhury as Mad Monk, along with Amritanshu Bishoyee, Bhabani Prasad, Debadutta Nanda, Minati Pattnaik, Dr Nanda, and Rajeswar Patra in key roles. The scenic locales of Bhawanipatna, with its lush greenery, serve as the backdrop of the film.

The story revolves around Taanish and Shalini, their unexpected meeting during volatile circumstances, and the struggles that follow. The film raises questions on whether Shalini can help Taanish overcome his inner chaos or if his rage will consume them both.

Manasika has been screened and acclaimed at multiple global platforms including Indo-Singapore International Film Festival, Riyadh International Film Festival, Lift-Up International Film Festival, Diamond Bell International Film Festival
