Odia Film Mantra Muugdha Completes Shooting, Director Anupam Patnaik Calls It “Most Ambitious Project Yet

Bhubaneswar: The much-awaited Odia film Mantra Muugdha, touted as one of the most ambitious projects from Amiya Patnaik Productions, has officially wrapped up its shoot after completing its final schedule in Ganjam. The earlier schedules of the film were shot extensively in Bhubaneswar before the team moved to Ganjam for the concluding leg.

Director Anupam Patnaik, sharing the wrap-up moments on social media, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the team. “Years of scripting, months of pre-production, and after 50 unforgettable days of shoot the journey of Mantra Muugdha has officially wrapped! A heartfelt thank you to every single person who poured their talent, passion, and hard work into making this film possible. This one is truly special – the biggest, grandest, and most ambitious project yet from Amiya Patnaik Productions. We are coming soon… the countdown begins now. Get ready, because we’re back with a bang!” he wrote.

Actor Sanoj, who plays a key role in the film, also shared his emotions on the wrap-up. “And that’s a wrap on Mantra Muugdha! What a journey it has been – more than just lights, camera, action. My second collaboration with the visionary duo Anupam Patnaik and Barsha Patnaik, and every step of the way has felt like magic. From early call times to sleepless nights, this film carries not just the soul of Odisha, but the heartbeat of every single hand that shaped it,” he said, adding a special mention to his co-stars.

The ensemble cast of the film includes Manmay Dey, Sarthak, Bhoomika Dash, Suryamayee Mohapatra, Dipanwit Dashmohapatra, Nishant Majithia, and Pihu Mohapatra.
