Bhubaneswar: The makers of the upcoming Odia horror film Bou Buttu Bhuta, starring Babushaan Mohanty and Archita Sahu, extended warm birthday wishes to the film’s director, Jagdish Mishra, on Wednesday.

Taking to social media, Babushaan Films shared: “Happy birthday to our captain of the ship, @thisisjagdish. May you keep entertaining people forever with your creative mind and deliver blockbusters over the years.”

Jagdish Mishra, known for his work on critically acclaimed films and web series such as Capital Takies, Dubai Visa*l, and Gangs of Puri (Season 1), co-directed GOP alongside Anupam Patnaik.

Produced by Trupti Satpathy, *Bou Buttu Bhuta* is set for a theatrical release across Odisha on June 12. The film boasts a stellar cast featuring Archita Sahu, Aparajita Mohanty, and Babushaan Mohanty.

Sources close to the production suggest that the movie aims to redefine horror in Odia cinema by merging psychological suspense with elements of traditional folklore.
